When: March 19-23, 2013 (Spring Break) Application Deadline: February 12, 2013 What: Coastal Research Youth Forums are designed to provide opportunities for youth to explore their interests in science while working with and being mentored by biologists/scientists at our world-class Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre. The 2013 forum will focus on skills and techniques scientists use to investigate marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Activities will include measuring biodiversity, assessing species distribution, and collecting oceanographic data. Students will complete a research project that will include data collection and analysis, as well as presentation of their results.
